THN Tension Transducer

THN Tension Transducer

Web tension equipment manufacturer Dover Flexo Electronics (DFE) announces the release of the new THN tension transducer.

Based on the robust dual-beam design of the company's Model C transducer, THN is a strain-gauge tension-measuring device used in pairs that mount opposed in a machine web path. Each end of an idler roll shaft fits easily and securely into a THN transducer coupling to create a tension-sensing idler roll.

At 1 3/4 inches wide the THN shares a low profile with other pancake-style shaft-mount load cells, but its user-friendly features including a 1 3/4-inch mounting footprint, single-bolt mounting, and trouble-free installation separate the distinct, green-colored tension transducer from its peers. THN is available in dead-shaft and live-shaft versions.

· Thin profile allows for easy mounting in limited horizontal space.

· Single-bolt mounting means transducer force orientation can be changed simply.

· Shaft coupling designed for easy roll shaft installation.

· Rugged stainless steel and aluminum construction

· Load ratings from 25 to 800 Ibs (110-3560N; 11-364 Kg).
