EAS-Compact Standard

Flanged torque limiting clutch for backlash-free torque transmission between shaft and drive element. The torque is transmitted backlash-free until disengagement and reduces immediately when an overload occurs. Low mass moment of inertia. Automatic re-engagement. Long working life.

Safety clutches limit the torque in drives to a pre-set value. In case of an overload condition they prevent costly damage due to collision or blockage of the drive.

In case the torque is exceeded their limit switch can be used to switch off the drive or for any other control function.

After removal of the overload the machines protected by Mayr clutches are immediately ready for operation.
