Usage

As holding brake with Emergency-OFF braking action, rating.

Note: as dual circuit brake system according to EN 81-1 at least two brakes are necessary.

As protective device for the elevator cage going upwards against overspeed.

Product characteristics for your advantage

– The sound damping allows extremely quiet operation of the brake.

– Large braking torques attainable by using several brakes.

– Flat construction, therefore small mounting space required.

– The electromagnetic coil and hand release offer a remote controllable electronic and mechanical (e. g. Bowden cable) release of the brake.

The ideal brake system for drives installed in the elevator shaft.

– The electronic monitoring device (release monitoring) allows the brake system to be used in applications as protective device for the elevator cage going upwards against overspeeds. (Two brakes are necessary. Additionally provide speed limit according to EN 81-1 for monitoring of the overspeed).
