Contact Type

   Contact Type
   Your choices are...

   Momentary Contact

Momentary Contact: These contacts return to their normal state as soon as the actuator passes its release point. Sometimes also called "spring return".

   Maintained Contact

The contacts remain in the "triggered" position after the actuator has been released. They are reset only by further mechanical action of the operating head.

   Positive Opening

Also called Positive Breaking Contacts; The contact point opens reliably and remains open in activated position even in the event of mechanical failure, such as breakage of a spring or contact welding.
