- Collect and Control: Real-time automation control and data acquisition. Use CTC programmable automation controllers to monitor and control a wide array of digital, analog, and motion devices using CTC’s Quickstep state-logic control software.
- Visualize: CTC’s text and touch panel displays easily connect to CTC automation controllers as well as third-party PLCs. When using Blue Fusion controllers with built in web servers, the HMI project can be served from the automation controller giving any browser based device full HMI functionality.
- Manage and inform: Use CTC’s software solutions to directly link plant floor data directly to enterprise computing systems. CTC has software solutions that can be deployed at the automation controller level, HMI level, or at the plant server level. CTC History of Innovation
In the 1980’s Control Technology was one of the first companies to take advantage of advanced microprocessor technology to integrate servo motor control, stepping motor control, analog and digital I/O control, user interface control, and network communications into a single control device they call the programmable automation controller or PAC.
 In the 1990's CTC was the first company to incorporate Web Server and Internet Technologies into Programmable Automation Controllers and was granted several patents in this area. This breakthrough technology enables true Enterprise Connectivity right down to the device level without the need for expensive middleware or intermediary PC's and servers. CTC products provide the ability for their customers to easily monitor and/or control machines and equipment in their local factory, or in remote locations around the world.
To kick off the new millennium Control Technology introduced the all new Blue Fusion family of automation controllers. Designed from the ground up to deliver industry leading performance in small highly reliable form factors the Blue Fusion automation controllers have been extremely popular with both end-users and OEMs.
